as above really. just looking to see what everone thinks as the time has come to sell my vectra SRI.

the pics of the car really do let it down i would class it was mint for it's age.

the add's not the best two as this is the first car i have ever tryed to sell lol.

maybe give it a good clean and go take some better pics?

Looks like a decent example.

What do you mean by 'mint for it's age'?

Surely mint is mint, regardless of age. If it has age related marks on it then it's not mint.

you asking way over the market value

Wisebuyer valuation - £800 good condition (which yours looks to be) take a look elsewhere for similiar conditioned cars

Bought my old man one last year, although not SRi. Was a 1.8 LS. Same color, 55k, full vauxhall history and 1 owner from new. 12 month MOT and 6 month tax. Paid £450 for it.

Its strong money for it, when you can pick up a Gsi etc for around the same price.

But then again, my mate sold his 02 plate SRi 130 for £1200 with over 130k on it. His "looked" better though which is what got him that sort of money. Sold within 2 days of me putting it on Gumtree too.

when i was looking for one i found that the petrols where a lot cheaper to buy than the diesels and there was shit loads of 1.8's about.
shame their not making good money cos their decent cars. ugly, but decent

Its not just Vectra's that applies to though. Like for like, diesels tend to go for abit more than the petrol equivilent.

must admit aswell, id of much preferred an SRI 130, insurance wasn't coming back too dear and the diesel vectras are really cheap to run i found

i'd be advertising it for around 900 but leave room for haggling
