I'm considering splashing out on a new kitchen from Wren. I'm told the quality & finish is very good, the modern designs look nice & the units come per-assembled which is a big plus as I'm planning on fitting it myself (with a bit of help)
One thing I wasn't so impressed with was their choice of worktops. Wondering if anyone could make any recommendations of where to look online? I'm planning on doing the rounds tomorrow to B&Q, Wickes etc to see if I can get any find any inspiration there
Cheers

Fleming build base. B&Q work tops are shite and the kitchens. Howdens are very over priced and the worktops are good but only come 3m lengths and most runs in a kitchen are loner than that nowadays.
Fleming Build Base, there units are the best of the lower cost ones and there worktops are good. Go there not Wren

I've got a black granite work top from wickes. It's good imo. But it's a bitch to keep it from not looking smeared.

Howdens are a pain because it's all based on discount so if you don't buy much you are paying way over the odds.

I would assume Fleming is the franchise name of build base who are a national chain I.e. Evans Halshaw Ford etc

my dad has used howdens recently.
he is not in the trade, so they either just hand out accounts to anyone or you dont actually need one

You do need one but you don't need to be in the trade, anyone can get one, usually cash accounts.

Should of looked into getting composite worktop, get all your units in and get someone out, they measure up then make it then install it. Look great too
