Talking to my step dad last night about his old Peugeot 405 MI16, the reg was H16PDB, don't really know what to use to search for it, They were a limited run of production and it was No. 142 we think, it was an absolute animal and was remarkably quick, if possible we are looking to buy it back so we want to find out what happened to it!
I ask on here as i know you guys are quick and helpful!

Going by the info above it hasn't been taxed since 2005 so i'd say it's been scrapped/crushed

Nope, if you put in a registration that has been crushed it says "Vehicle details could not be found", so it's still about somewhere.

Not true im afraid dude.. one of my old corsas still shows up on the DVLA N654 PRP - scrapped it around 2007

Must vary for different cars then, old metro i know is scrapped comes up 'details could not be found' for me.

Two of my old corsas which were crushed around 4 years ago, both show up as Not on the database

text the reg to 83600 it will tell you if its scrapped of crashed cost £3 though
