that annoyed me also. everyone knows what he means when he says muslim. does it matter if they aren't of that faith?

i'm not on pistonheads, but got th elink elsewhere, as i think they're all a bit up their own arses on there.

yes me also, why they would need a picture of that is beyond me? they wanted to do "checks?" surely they only need a number plate to do such checks for HPI etc?

they've obviously used the details off the V5 and created a forgery wouldn't be that hard to do to fool a dealer

that was my understanding. All they needed was full VIN.

But like people mentioned on PH request information from BMW of when replacement key was made. Check CCTV at the garage and BOOM!

I've got an E60 too and it's pretty scary that somebody can take your car so easily It might be worth getting some aftermarket security as a precaution.

Some people on here like to do this too.
