Depends. Chicken tends to stink like shit after a short period.

If it smelled okay i'd eat it. If it smelled funny at all I wouldn't risk it.

apart from milk, they'll keep that in the fridge for weeks

I'm the sort of person that goes by the best before date fairly religiously so I would throw and go out and buy some fresh chicken

Wash it then cook it, so long as its really well cooked it won't make you bad.

will be fine, i had carrots in my lunch the other day that were a month over the use by date, they were fine. Most stuff can be used several days after the use by date.

well thats a bit silly as the best before date isn't use by date, so the chicken will still be fresh and fine to eat.

Generally chicken would have a use by date and not a best before date. Providing chicken has been cooked at 72 degrees for over 2 minutes then its all good even if its a tad bit old.

It's 3 days, I probably wouldn't even notice the date. Man up

9 times out of 10 I will eat any old shite but stuff like chicken is a no no, I'd rather bin it than tempt fate.

having had food poisoning in the past from chicken no i wouldn't risk it fluids rushing from both ends every 20-30 minutes whether you like it or not for 48 hours then spending another few days recovering doesn't warrant saving £4 on fresh chicken in my book, albeit mine i suspect was from undercooked food from the Golden Arches

I chuck stuff away, fruit juice in the fridge is the worst, i usually open it, have a glass and end up chucking the rest away as seems weird to leave a drink open imo, even though it has a lid, you are still trapping non-factory air in there
