Had new oil pump fitted to my Corsa and after getting it fitted had problems again with the oil light coming on again. So checked presure release valve and found that was not it good condition and changed it worked for 10mins then checked it again and it lasted bout 20 mile and light back on again! I've given the car my mate to try and sort he cleaned it up and changed spring ad had it working fine most of the day with out fault I go to pick it up and on way home the light back on agai but this time goes off when driving but on when stop and on idle.
My mate says the pump is nackered would you all say this before I go out and by another pump.

sounds to me like its got a mark on it and keeps sticking, needs a new pump and reliefe valve i would say

I've got nylon relief valve to try then if that don't work new pump it is
