Anyone know how to change the seals? They seem to be trapped behind a metal ring that i cant see how it is removed. The haynes shows seals but no rings over them. Anyone have any ideas? Cheers.

I've fitted a few in my F28 box. Simply prise the old ones out with a flat blade screw driver, clean up the faces & run a smear of grease to help the new one in.
You can tap the new ones into place using a socket or something similar but be carefull not to damage or bend them

the drive shaft seals just pry them out gently, and knock the new ones in with a socket and a hammer, just be gentle and make sure its square
