I've got a holiday coming up soon and on one of the days I've got a 600 mile drive to do in a day, what's peoples records for driving in a 24 hour period? Any good top gear challenge esque stories?

i did 420 miles, stopping once for 10 minutes. quite proud of myself.
the trick is to do the drive when theres no rush hour as it's so much less tiring and more enjoyable.

Hate driving long distance. Most I've done is about 4 hours and that killed me!

Did Cornwall and back in a day with a 30 minute diversion as I got given the wrong address.
Was 13+ hours pretty much straight driving and I wouldn't like to do it again
EDIT: Just checked and I did about 750 miles

Liverpool - Shropshire - Cardiff - Barnstaple - Liverpool. That was over 600 I think
Doing Liverpool - Oxford - Buckingham - Crawley - Southend - Northampton tomorrow, should be another long one.
Aberdeen next week, that's 700 round trip but I'm probably going to stay over somewhere for that one.

Going up north that way is easy Ian. Got to Glasgow in 3 1/2 hours from us and it's a great drive.

I done Northampton to scotland in a day. Left at 3am to miss the traffic and got home at about 4pm. Not sure on milage but i know we only stopped to swap driver on the way, but on the way home was different as we was picking a car up and had to drive home alone for about 5 and a half hours. Took some walky talkys so we could chat for free.lol
