Have a bit of an issue.

I've got a long block from a calibra 1994.
It's fitted in my very low corsa b an the engine hits the floor alot.

Is there any modification to make the engine higher in the bay?

If anybody can suggest things (other than raise the car) lol

Cheers in advance

Very good question. Ummm

It's stiffness an height adjustable. The coilovers aren't even wound down that far an is set to stiff.

Is the sump actually hitting the floor or is it just the manifold?

Bit out of context but what size tyres are these mate? The profile looks like 40s? If they are where did you get them from? As I've search everywhere for sum 195 40 15 lol

And the car sits pritty low tbf mate, can't really think how your going to solve this without slightly modifying all your engine an box mounts /:

No mate engine can`t be raised,if you do that you will change the driveshaft angle so may start popping out shafts or damaging cv`s.If you want to keep it lower than it was designed to be you`ll just have to be more careful.

Although it will catch, perhaps a sum guard type metal effort will help save damages a bit? Failing that you will either have to make it higher.

Ill get a photo of the driveshaft angle tomorrow lol an I've not had a failure yet.
If I raise the engine then the angle actually improves on the shafts.

There's the driveshaft angle lol

The coilovers were on it when I got it. The bright yellow with adjustable tops for stiffness. Well expensive apparently. It's only wound down 20mm from top of thread.

Picture of underneath but it's to dark to get a decent one.

Part of having a real low car.

You could mount the engine a bit higher, but you'd come into issues with the bonnet then, and gear linkage, and drive shafts hitting on the bottom of the chassis.

Didn't think about gear linkage at all. Think I'm gunna metal under tray it an get the manifold adjusted to fit.
Is it illegal to have an exhaust firing out In front on the front wheel. ??
