I've got two keys, one is 7/32 and one is 1/4. I've got something that needs undoing which seems to fall between these sizes! The 7/32 can turn slightly in the hole, the 1/4 won't fit in at all.

Is there another unit of measurement available for these? If so does anybody know which size would fall between these two?

Ta

I hate it when this happens, spend 15mins googling and don't find anything - so I post the question on a forum.

30seconds after clicking "Post", I find my answer:

http://www.vaughns-1-pagers.com/science/allen-wrench-conversion.htm

It appears a 6mm falls between these two sizes.

Thanks anyway

I'm guessing you've tried 6mm?

I have this,
http://www.powertoolworld.co.uk/draper-expert-40-piece-tx-star-hexagon-xzn-mechanics-bit-set-21932.html?gclid=CJO2nKaOmrYCFUnMtAodtTIAwQ

is so handy, got loads of the weird star drives, hex drives etc and they all go on a rachet/socket setup.

Used it loads on my car and the neighbour borrowed it quite a lot
