I know this guys reviews come up from time to time on here. Here is an interesting one.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KsUPixwMDg0

Renault Clio RRS 200 EDC. I am a Clio Owner and am very interested in the new (ordinary) model. There is a lot on the RS that people are not so keen on though. Auto box and 5 doors on a RS?!

Lots of Clio and ex-Clio owners on here. Would be good to hear some opinions.

Watched it the other day, seems they are making it appeal to a wider audience.

Which to me is a bit stupid from a company struggling to sell cars and the only part of your business that is profitable and remarkably well renowned is the RS

The 5door thing is fine, so is that gearbox but it NEEDED a manual option, seems silly to alienate 85% of previous customers based on that.

Resale values will plummet faster than normal renaults as well as that will cost a lot to fix and maintain.

Plus as he says, it really doesn't look different to the regular Clio....

I have a clio 200 with 30,000 miles and £8k which I would happily give renault for a new RS....I have been blown away by my R27 and RS 200

Shame they have produced that thing - will be going elsewhere now.

Chris Harris still sounds as awkward on camera as ever.

Don't get me wrong, I've watched hours of his videos and I think he throws cars around more than any other journo - but after all these years he still seems a bit cardboard when talking into a camera, imo ofc!

Fair play. I just think its nice for someone who doesn't have too much of an ego and talks sense!
