This should be interesting with the elite people on here...

(Link would probably help - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/magazine-22000973?SThisFB )

I'm Established Middle Class apparently

"Established Middle Class: Members of this class have high levels of all three capitals although not as high as the Elite. They are a gregarious and culturally engaged class." - Although I don't think that's me at all

"Emergent Service Workers: This new class has low economic capital but has high levels of 'emerging' cultural capital and high social capital. This group are young and often found in urban areas."

Elite

This is the wealthiest and most privileged group in the UK. According to the Great British Class Survey results, lots of people in this group:

Enjoy high cultural activities such as visiting museums and listening to classical music
Went to private school and elite universities
Socialise with people who do a wide variety of jobs.

I like museums, but not classical music.
Never went to a private school and dropped out of college.
I do socialise with people who do a wide variety of jobs, however I am by no means elite!

BBC will use the results to further establish its left wing labour bias in some form. Probably.

This is rubbish. I just did it again, but answered nothing but the first set of questions about money and it still says elite.
The BBC have obviously never heard that money can't buy you class

It'll be based on your household income, change it to your own income only and it'll change.

Still elite. I'm guessing it'll be due to my savings.

I never went to a posh school nor did I ever go Uni :/

im right on the dge of falling into the 2nd tier... my cultural capital just makes up for the fact i dont own my own home apparently :/
