Got a EPOS terminal here which boots fine but then as soon as it tried to load windows it shits its self and just goes blank.
Ideas?

Can you get in with safe mode?
If so, I would run msconfig and see what stuffs starting up, switch as much as possible off.
When it breaks, does it get to loading windows screen?

When i say, starting to load windows, when you get the selection screen and try to boot normally, safe mode etc it blacks out as soon as you press return

Which OS?
can you pop a OS disk in and run a repair?
Have you tried command prompt? If you can get to that, I would try sfc /scannow

Is there any hard-drive activity when the screen is blank?
Have you tried 'Last Known Configuration'?
Have you recently installed any updates (i've seen dodgy graphics card drivers do something similar)?
Might be worth seeing if a linux Live CD/DVD boots, would rule out hardware issues. And if it's ok then do as Bart said, stick the OS CD in and attempt a repair or system-restore (if it's enabled). Failing that, backup data and reinstall.
