If you were only keeping it for a year might as well be a lambo.

Lambo.

Porsches are so boring, no matter what the model.

You could have a 50k lambo and everyone will think you've won the lottery.

the v10 also sounds amazing.

Looks wise it's the Lamborghini easily, but the Porsche is a fair bit nicer to drive and probably easier to live with.

It would have to be an LP before I went for a Gallardo. I don't like the nose on the normal ones.

Would be the Gallardo for me. Its a dream car, and park both in a petrol station and the Lambo would get more attention. Porsche just dosn't seem that special to me.

If it were between an R8 or a Lambo that would be a tough 1.

For only 5,000 miles it wouldn't be a 997 Turbo, just not special enough. GT3 Yes! That or Gallardo.

Porsche being boring? The 997 turbo has got to be one of the sexiest cars ever made and would be an absolute machine to drive. I'm a massive fan of them but understand why people would chose the lambo but to call them boring is very odd.

If being serious about a purchase I'd keep in mind the fact the 991 turbo is due out soon when buying a Porsche and how that will impact residuals then and in 12 months. Gallardo would undoubtably loose the least over a year!
