Yeah its possible to do this, there are two types of dash, cable and electronic. Cable dashes start at 10mph. Electronic ones start at zero and work in reverse. Generally speaking electronic dashes already have the rev counter feed in the loom as its as easy as plugging a new dash unit in or tapping in to the loom if you fancy a stick-on rev counter instead of replacing the set of three for a four-clocker. Cable dashes generally don't have the wiring in there and you'll need to run your own from the coil and possibly also smooth it with a capacitor as I had to in the case of fitting a GSi set of clocks to my '95 1200.
By the way, the search icon is also at the top of the screen
