Random 'Out of interest' thread this, but does anyone on here use these?
Seems like the world and his dog are talking about the value skyrocketing, but I have literally no idea what you use them for!
Are real people using them or just the geeks?

Geeks, I needed them to buy something and ended up just not buying it. Passing fad imo.

If you got in a year or two ago then you're in the winnings but mining now is a little pointless. As a currency it's useful for anonymity but i can see the whole thing folding within a few years anyway.

Theres some serious money pouring into it, someone is going to lose a lot and lose it fast.

I have 0.66 bit coins that I want to sell. Anyone want to give me some cash on paypal for them?
Bought what I needed to with them so no need to have them sat doing nothing now

I don't know the intricacies of the enterprise nor do I care, I just know they've had money stolen to the tune of several hundred thousand in the past.

Caring or not Brett, was abit of a statement to say BT is always being exploited in some way I would go on abit but seeing as you don't really care I don't see much point

Probably wise not to amplify your nerdy tendencies too much mate, good call
I still don't think that saying Bitcoin and by extension it's related features, be it wallets or others BS you'll know the terminology for being exploited is too far fetched a statement to make. The fact most people are numpties towards it like myself means they too treat news articles in the same fashion I would and see it as having issues, hence the prices dropping when problems with it are reported.

I'm just saying your opinion is not correct, if you don't care about the subject I wasn't going to waste keystrokes going on about it thats all. I wasn't out to offend you or bruise your ego, I think you need to lay off all the ganja mate.

No ego bruised mate. Not sure if you've taken my response the wrong way actually? I did say 'numpties like me' on the topic By all means enlighten myself and everyone else on Bitcoin.

Yes of course. Was it the 'nerdy tendencies' or 'other BS you'll know the terminology for' that made you think otherwise? x10

MTGox suspended trading until 2AM UTC tomorrow, as well. Might buy some if it drops below £20 and wait a few months for it to go back up again
