Hi there. I am kinda new to the forum stuff.

I have recently purchased a black 1.8 sri corsa and I would just like some help and ideas for modifying my car.

With the insurance I am with they do not allow modifications such as induction kits, lowering etc.

So I am looking for ideas that make my car more sporty without doing the major stuff to it.

The car is completely standard. I already know so of the common mods such as de wiper the back and also de badge.

If you have any ideas please comment.

Thank you

With my corsa this insurance malarkee came across my mind once or twice. I thought like the only thing really noticeable is if it was slammed. Im assuming you wont have body kits etc haha.

If youve just bought it look into what you said and also maybe wheels/exhaust/lowering im going to get some sri wing mirrors and black facelifts for mine shortly

Mine has the m3 mirrors I think and also is 04 plate so has the face lift. The insurance doesn't allow me to change things like exhaust and lower (which is extremely shit I know) but I planning on de whiper, de badge, immursher grill, wind deflecters. Stuff like that I can do

Get some Eibach 30mm springs, they're black and were optional extras back in the day, also they look the best, Irmscher exhaust too (which sounds the same as standard, just looks better)

Mine on Eibach springs, little arch gap:

Get an LMF/Irmscher grille, paint the badges black, paint the inside of the headlights black or get angel eyes, colour code the arches, skirts and mirror baseplates, fit a Cupra R splitter to the front.

Just a couple of subtle ideas that you should be able to get away with.

What would be the best way to colour code the arches skirts and mirror baseplates?

If your colour coding them it means body colour... I doubt the car is satin matey

Best of letting a bodyshop spray them if you dont know what your doing or it will be shit.

Also you could change out the alloys for other Vauxhall ones, even if they're not from the same model, you could most likely say they have a Vauxhall badge on them so how were you to know?
Could change or paint the interior plastics too, leather gear gaiter, new carpet, etc.

Cheers. I have done the leather gaiters. And planning to do the centre console etc. also in progress of changing the interior lights all round to blue. I'm liking the sri alloys but thinking of returning and changing colour. But to what colour I'm not sure
