They can be bought for about £30k at the moment, so not long.
I'd be hesitant about buying one though.
At that price it's more than likely going to be used and abused and high milage.
I don't think i'd ever buy the cheapest of something just to have one.
I always buy the best I can afford.

I think the servicing and repairs is what will kill you, not so much the actual cost of the car.

I don't get the used and abused comments. This is a car you buy purely for those reasons I would have thought.
Like chris says tho the running and maintenance costs of these cars are unreal. Supercar money.

They're not that expensive to service, £6.50 a plug, £8 for an oil filter....

Look up the price to replace the bonnet etc. if you have a slight knock on the front

affordable to average joe
that's like saying an E60 M5 is 'affordable', when in fact it'll cripple an average joe with repair bills and servicing/running costs.

The problem with expensive cars is that just because they get cheaper to buy it doesn't mean the parts prices have gone down the same amount!

Very expensive car to run. I've drove 2 of them, very fast but not as rewarding a drive as I hoped for.
