Got a call from "police"
Saying they had a young man with all my bank cards...

Made sure I had my cards here etc etc...

Then tell me I need to call up IMMEDIATLY and cancel
My cards....
However, I work for a bank and we've been warned about these scams...

So I picked phone back up and didn't dial, started talking, and he was still on the line; had argument with him haha.. In which several
Names were called..

They hope you call
Back up, and numbers you're pressing on phone don't work. They then pretend to be the bank you just called, and get all your info...

Be careful.

Earlier a week someone called my GF and spoke to me, they said the worked for her bank. I asked what bank that was and they said her bank and the fraud team. I said I would let her know and she would call them. She called and she was passed onto the fraud team. They said it was a nothing to do with them at all.

Also a few weeks back I had a call from a random number and they said they were my bank (they said the correct bank) and wanted to ask me a few questions about my recent experiences. I agreed as I had been in there that day (I had been in to pay monies in). They then went on to ask me my full name which I said then asked for my DOB. At this point I told them to jog on and If I wanted to speak to my bak I would call them.

Banks should only ask for half.

Such as
"I'll give you day and month you were born in, you give me the year" or first half post code etc.

They can't disclose the relationship to the bank before id the person, in case it's husband etc and wife has secret account or something like that
