Bought this last week and now have the Cavalier Sri resting the garage.
Have been toying with the idea of buying a new car for a while, but then decided to keep the Cav on the road and just drive it till it was done lol, but when a mate texted me last week saying his motor was for sale I found it hard to refuse. Was cheaper insurance (even though it has an extra 1000cc!) and it runs on LPG which is great!
Really enjoying it, although I'm finding it hard to adjust to how comfortable it is, if you know what I mean. All my other cars have been quite old in comparison and felt quite 'raw,' but I knew this would be different.
Anyway it pulls very well and is kitted up so well I still don't know how half the stuff works.

Those seats are a bit much Not sure how much they suit a silver car either.
Still like it though. Always loved the ST220s. Especially in estate form. I'd probably de-badge it for the sleeper effect.

Cheers lads.
Aye Gav, was probably an optional extra it seems to have all the rest of them lol
Twiggy pics were copied from the for sale add, my photobucket hasn't worked properly in ages
Cheers Nathy
@Mark - Apparently the diesels can be more tempermental. The clutch can go which means new flywheel as well, which means £1000. Going by Google anyway, not sure how accurate that is. But sure why have a diesel one when you can have an LPG'd petrol one lol

Enjoy it mate, love mine. Owned mine since September and have only seen one 220, and very few ST TDCi's. Rare cars!

They do seem quit rare, although I've spotted at least one since buying it.
You've got a real good shine off yours there. I said I'd never buy another silver car because they are harder to get a good shine off, but sure lol

Smart looking car. Didn't realise these were produced in an estate body.
Result on getting one with a gas conversion. Shame the filler location is such a pain in the back.
Liking the funky seats. They look a bit like something out of an Audi RS4/6.

VERY accurate Ricky. Same goes for the diseasel X-Type. Fine when working, but christ are they trouble waiting to happen.
And as far as clutch issues are concerned... The last place I worked at, one of our customers had to scrap his really clean, black saloon V6 Ghia X that was a year older than yours and equally clean. The cost of sorting his clutch, flywheel and gearbox woes was so high that the car was a financial write off. Just ludicrous.

Happens on the 4 cylinder diesels too, according to the service history on my dad's car, it's had 3 clutch/flywheel combos in 10 years and 120k, and it's slipping again now.

Seems they do have bother alright then. Thats crazy that his car had to be scrapped.
LPG filler position isn't too bad because you don't actually have to hold the pump trigger as you do with a petrol pump. Just hook it up and then press a button on the machine.
The fella I bought it off now has an LPG'd VXR8 which has the gas filler located in behind the petrol filler cap. Much neater.
