got this ticket today, now im 99.9% sure im right on this,

so iv been doing a course since monday in a building where their is 8 businesses, we was told on day 1 that this company only had so many parking spaces an we had to park in them ones, most spaces arnt parked with who they are allocated to, so every day the spaces for this company have been full so i have parked in another bay, today one of the other companys has kicked off because i was in THEIR bay! and rang the traffic warden to come, still i refused to move the car as i feel i had done nothing wrong!

so heres the pics

the sign on the car park

and where i was parked

"Parking for visitors employees and visitors of Nightingale Court only"

If the place you were visiting was in Nightingale Court then you haven't violated anything? Can you get the company you were visiting to confirm you where there?

yup i can prove it, and we have all had a massive argument over this with the tutor over what it says in the carpark, her argument is that they are only allocated so many spots an i dont park in one of theirs

i'll be able to wall paper my house with them by the time iv finished the course

They can't do anything about it but if you knew you shouldn't have parked there it's still your fault.

I'd be unhappy if someone parked in my space, while on a course that I had probably paid for.

I know you couldn't, the people who work there every day probably do though.

Well done.

It does say private land which means that space belongs to them if that space is owned by them.

If you were visiting why not tell them that rather than come on to a forum asking if you should pay it or not?

the car park is for 8 different companies, the company that called the warden knew i was in the other park of the building but i stood my ground and refused to move my car as like i say, reading the signs i had done nothing wrong, just because one company says thats my parking space, its not marked up as theirs so im using it

I have heard in the past the uni's will hold back quals if there are any outstanding bills.

I would say that you are not 'in breach of contact' as you purpose was the visit Nightingale Court.

I would also say that the notice is void as the site no. is blank.

In most cases just ignore, they will send a few letters then get bored.
