Ok so it's for my MX bike. all yamaha dealers are trying to rip me off £3.68 each (I need 4) and a fiver p&p and I can get these bolts from the states from a yamaha dealer for 60p each, but, they are going to take 3 weeks to get them here and i'm ready to put the front end back on this weekend.
One thing about this country again - rediculous mark-ups on stock.
The bolt is M8 and about 45mm long. high tensile I would imagine, its for the front axle clamp as per the drawing.
Ive looked on a few websites but they arent specific enough.

what pitch thread?
You should be able to get them from any place that does bolts etc - just go with a non shouldered and use a washer
I would suspect a grade 10.9 would be required - you may get away with an 8.8

Go to a local fasteners shop and they should be able to help.

1.25mm pitch thread I think, I'll check it tomorrow on my M8 x 1.25 tap.
