Hey,
So who on here has bought a new kitchen before? Who did you use?
We're looking at an extension on the house which will involve a new kitchen and have started to look at the usual suspects like Magnet and B&Q.
Just after people views and experiences etc

B&Q kitchens are terrible! Im a joiner myself.
The beat kitchens ATM are Fleming Buildbase. No there's no relation. Howdens are okay, not the best. Kitchens international are amazing! Kitchen cost my mother £37,000! lol but depends on the worktops etc. one bad thing about Howdens kitchens, there worktops are only 4m long and most kitchens have a longer surface than that

I was impressed with Wren when we looked if you have no trade contacts for other places. I ended up ordering from Howdens in the end tho as got some really good discount. The same kitchen which Magnet quoted £9K for cost me £4K with Howdens.
If you do order from wren tho I would suggest ordering and leaving a deposit and then in there cooling off period cancel it as I did this and they offered me another £1,000 off! Howdens were still a little cheaper for me tho so went with them in the end

Chaz - cheers for the offer, it won't be for a few months though as the extension isn't past planning yet.
Aidan - Cheers for the input, a few people have mentioned Howdens. £37K for a kitchen!!! It's all economies of scale.
Nova - nice tip for Howdens, cheers

I got a B&Q kitchen as all i needed was carcases doors and work tops worked out just under 2k almost finished. Get what you pay for. We are planning on moving in the next 5 years so didnt want to spend a fortune.

Thats pretty much a kitchen isnt it?
Another vote for Howdens, ive had a few off them, decent quality and they'll beat any price inc B&Q etc..
