The key is in preparation lots of sanding down to make it smooth and lots of thin layers of paint so it dosnt run

give it a go no harm trying. just remember the more time you spend on preping the stuff the better the results

Take it to a body shop, you will thank us 4 saying this after you do, if u bodge it up you will have ruined the kit. I had a decision like this one, decided to go with the bodyshop and now it looks f**kin amazing, shame im selling it now!

If u do decide to spray yourself, good luck!!

you wont ruin the kit if you botch it, just sand it all back down and take it to a bodyshop, or have another go!

my dad already had a compresser and spray gun etc.. never done any spraying before, taight ourselves and im very impressed with the outcome. probably spent about 100 quid on paint, primer, thinners, activator, laquer etc.. but almost my whole car has been resprayed and its had 2 body kits sprayed. dont use cans, that is expensive, and they look jiz.

Just go for it matey, You'll be more pleased if you can say you did it yourself.
Got my mate to do mine and I'm very happy with the results. I bought 2 pack paint which cost about £18,Primer cost £13, Hardener cost £5 and Thinners cost about £8.
And you have the right attitude, If it goes wrong you can always rub it down and do it again or just resort to getting a bodyshop to do it.

take your time is the most important thing, 90% of it is preperation and there is just 10% glory at the end!

good luck!
