All was going well with the MG up until today

I managed to do this, again

Fitted some new injectors and took it for a blast to see if there as good as what the internet says, hit a bump a bit to fast and that was the end

TBH I was driving to fast for how low the car is and the condition of the road I was on so I only have my self to blame for this one.

My oil trail goes on for a bout a 600 feet so I think I've probably done some damage internally, and wheres the rest of my sump?

This is why I never fitted my alloy baffled sump. Had a 5mm thick plate welded on instead.

Might be a good idea to phone the local council and inform them of a large oil spill.

The council were informed by an annoying neighbour who wasn't best pleased that I stopped on the road out side his house , at least he didn't give them my reg number

I hammer the same road on a regular basis and have never had such issues (the astra happened in a different place), it's a popular road for people to thrash there cars on, I misjudged a corner a bit so I was hard on the brakes before entering the corner and hit the bump at the same time causing the damage.

As for the SDi injectors there well worth the money, much more torque and power, if they weren't fitted I would probably still have my sump in tact

I shut the engine off immediately when I seen the oil light and rolled to a stop. I'm more worried about where the remains of the sump went as I can't see them on the road anywhere
