As long as it doesn't end up like Heroes did then it should be good, trailers don't give too much away but Whedon is the expert at this stuff.

He failed miserably with Dollhouse, but the wooden actors were a lot to blame imo.

Should be ok. I read the actors/characters from the Avengers Assemble film should make appearances too. I get the impression we might see brief 1 min cameos towards the end of the series!

As said above, Heroes started off brilliantly but went down the Lost "character development"/spun out story route and was ruined.

thought it was ok.
A bit sappy in places, seems to be a thing for Whedon as Dollhouse had the same feeling at times.

I really hope a decent story develops, otherwise its going to quickly water down like Heroes.

Granted it's only the pilot but that was cheesy, very cheesy; especially the overdone J.J.Abrams lens flare effect.
I'm hoping it gets better though.

That was a let down, not a patch on any previous Whedon series.

Far too many comedy lines and trying to hard, most things have at least one annoying character but this was full of them.
