DIS is what you're after most likely. Got it myself, can be a right cunt to install and get working right, since you have to run it on VMWare and run several pieces of software at once, firstly to get DIS to see the dummy diagnostic head from within the virtual environment, then getting the diagnostic head software to communicate with the USB cable.

I should probably mention the above installation wouldn't apply if you actually used the provided installer. I didn't and started from scratch for my own reasons.

EDIT: Just remembered why! I didn't have a DVD drive so had to download it all seperately

I'm looking at my magazine that reviews them all and gives three options.

BMW & Mini Ultimate Home 9.0 - www.gendan.co.uk

or a pro and enthusiast one from www.mavericktechnology.co.uk

This is what you need. Comes with 2 DVDs packed with every tool you could ever need.

Sod the eBay stuff.

Go to Bmtechnic. They have engineered the software to be compatible without the need for Chinese boxes and dodgy cables. If your car is obdII which I assume it is its about £40 but comes with support and it WILL work.

I have it and its paid for itself 50times over

Also there is no difficult install procedure just insert disk and install.

You will get INPA, GT1/DIS, TIS and the other prog which name escapes me but let's you programme and remove features from the car

Sorry Brett, assumes you had posted the one where you need a degree in astro physics to install it and maintain it.

I stand by the BMTecnic one being the dogs dangles. Support is forum based and pretty much 8am-11pm support. Saved me £££ and there's somewhere to go if it goes tits up. Cables great quality also

I made it sound like that, I know I couldn't use their convenient installer at the time as I didn't have a DVD drive to get the stuff off

That where you hold the button on fob and they open when unlocking the doors? I've got that already, the close when you lock the door with the key and hold it too. Also came with the follow me home lights already enabled.
