Sold my C2 VTS HDI and picked this up on saturday. Won't be to everyone's liking but suits me perfectly.

Plans are to do some maintenance, paint the rust coloured calipers silver, previous owner has tried to touch up some stone chips on the front splitter abysmally so will sort that. Photos above were after a clay bar and polish but there is so much tar on the side lower parts ill need to go at it with something mote aggresive. Looks like the inside of yhe wheels have never been cleaned before either

Then in a year or so remap etc but for now I'm just going to enjoy it, really quiet and comfy for the 100 miles I do daily, came with all the upgrades inside. Previous owner was an oldish woman so first thing I had to do was change all the radio presets from classical Fm/radio 4

Wheels and bumpstrips let it down so much.

Do a bit of work on these, I don't really like them but its your taste.

Bumpstrips are clipped on, so removal isn't a possibility, colour coded would be better though.

It grows on me each time I see it ben

The c2 was ace and I can't say I don't miss it, the brute power and torque was lovely, smoked wheels up and shocked so many other cars, the handling was ace however it had got to the point where it was on 110k, needed so much work done to it (turbo was spewing soot from exhaust side, odd honking noise, clutch and dmf were clunking, needed a load on pipework replaced, undertray and arch liner needed replacing, bumper was cracked after I killed an animal with it, tyres were shot, top mounts going, oil leaks from air doser, cracked DMF etc etc etc) and as I had spent a lot on it since christmas, I decided I had to call it quits, get what I could for it and move on.

I think a change of wheels maybe in order, otherwise I still think it looks great. Plus its got loads of room for the dogs in the back, silent at motorway speeds and can fit myself and 4 blokes in with relative comfort for all.

100%. The standard ones look like something you'd find on a corsa in 2002.

No, however thats a good thing as the sensodrive boxes have known issues.

Lee..I'm only gay for you

Gary, I like the R26 wheels however think it might look like its trying too hard. Will have a think.

Dave, I'll get a photo of the inside later
