Could anyone tell me the best way to remove spray from lights?

Got a set that have been spray tinted that I need to return to normal.

T-Cut has been suggested. I'm guessing any kind of paint stripper will probably screw the plastic?

Wet sanded and polished a set once to remove a spray tint. Worked fine.

If it's only a light spray I imagine a coarse polisher will do the job.

The fact it has tint spray under means that if you do manage to get the paint off you'll more than likely take the tint off as well Brett. I think I'd be just using thinners, take the lights back to standard then tint them again if i fancied

E-Tech tint remover, used it on some corsa ones years ago, was decent. Took a little bit of time though.

thinners wont eat the lights but will remove the 1k spray, dont bother buying special tint remover

I'll give it a shot. Bought some new lights anyway, but thinking the resale of the old ones will be better if I can remove the spray.

If your just trying toget rid of the spray paint. Try useing some clay bar?

Thinners will take it off easy. Will be a case of wipe on, wipe off.

I once bought a set of badly painted wheels and needed to get the top coat off and thinners done the trick with ease.
