Don't think you need a guide, as its fairly straight forward.

I'm 99% sure waxoyl stops rust from spreading too. I'm sure some detailing world buff will back me up on that.

Brush will take forever. Shultz gun is pretty accurate tbh so just brush the edges
Have you access to a 2 post lift? Wouldn't want to do it on a jack.

Yea a mate says i can use his lift, dont want to spray scutz all over his workshop and on his customers cars ect.. So a brush is really my best bet. Was basicly going to:
Put car on 2 poster
Remove wheels
Remove arch liners
De grease
Remove any surface rust and use rust eater stuff
Seal all arches and anywhere accesable under the car
Use a spray for hard to get areas (above diff etc)

Sound fine.
Be warned, you WILL get covered in it so cover up as much as possible and have fun getting it off your face!

Get the wire brush out, treat the rust then undeseal it. I used brush on stuff as I like a thicker coating that shutz.

Its a shitty job, i ended up just doing the bits on corrado that had cracked or split.
A sharp chisel is great for scraping off any old stuff.
I used the POR15 rust remover stuff and wouldn't recommend that one, i switched to a spray can of eastwood rust encapsulator.

I only did my arches but the hammerite/waxoyl stuff is so easy to use. If I had proper ramps I'd do the full lot.
It does have anti rust properties according to the can, but I'd consider wire wool wheeling it off and painting with a specialist product first.

Yeah, once rust starts the only way to get rid is remove it, otherwise it'll just continue to rust away under the underseal

Also are you gonna go all ScEnE and paint it body coloured over the underseal?

no it will be just black lol
just want to make sure its protected... any rust will be wire brushed off and then treated, primed, sealed.
Will be once my paintworks done in a few weeks tbh but id ideally like it done right.. also going to remove bumpers and skirts to clean behind those and treat any little bits that may be starting

Its when you see bits under heatshields and fuel lines, exhaust, fuel tank that you groan as to do it properly you need to remove bits of the car

Should be easy enough on ramps. Better to take it all off and do the job right though
