I was asked by the garage to take the pics down for now. Something about the owner not wanting his name out there... I took a pic of the name plate and that was a big no, so taken them down for now.. will be back once I have the all clear.

How did the garage know the pics were up here? Does HR Owen browse CS?

If you're given permission by the garage to take pictures, you're going to assume it's okay to post them.

Yeah I think posting up the other pictures shouldn't be a problem. And I'm not criticising SteveW, I just think it's a little silly not to have asked permission before posting the plaque photo. Not that it really matters lol, but I can see why the owner wouldn't want that picture online.

Depends on your relationship with the company and what was said at the time tbh.

i spoke with them tonight..

my contact knew nothing about the "sensitive material" so she gave me the go ahead.. the sales manager however... he didnt like it.

mainly due to the name plate.. so im going to remove that from my photosite and see how we go

well... went out tonight with the HR Owen team.. they were only being funny about the name plaque.

so posting up the other photos except that one...

oh and.... yeah they are only snaps... im still finding my feet taking photos.. i dont think myself more than a basic level snapper, i've just had some good opportunity
if you dont think my photos are any good then constructive criticism is probably the way forward.. if you dont feel like going down that route then thats cool, i promise i wont "rage quit" on CS ever again

When you post in the appropriate forum then you should get a few more photographers who can offer constructive criticism and pointers
