Got my couch two months ago off CSL and never noticed until a few days ago but the stitching is different on the two couches, me bird keeps saying Dont worry about it but why should I spend £1500 and not get what I've ordered?

This is how it should be on the two seater:

This is how it looks on the three seater:

I'd normally not be too arsed but it's the middle detail on the back rest and for £1500 I expected better, anyone know where I stand? I don't even think they're wearing we'll either, two moths in and they are sagging and at 13stone I'm hardly abusing them

Contact customer services and they'll send an "engineer" out, he'll assess them and then you'll prob get a replacement or have them repaired.

Take it to the supplying branch as a 1st port of call. I think thats reasonable to knock back!

we've had no end of problems with our dfs sofa's.

everytime, the best method to get someone out was to call the store you bought them from.

eventually, we got credit for ours (full original sale price) to exchange for new ones, but that's because there was manufacturer defects that couldn't be repaired without taking them away.

that single stitching is in an area where the material will pull when you sit on it. eventually it'll come apart, which is exactly what ours has done.

you wouldn't if you worked for a sofa company. missus' parents bought them as a moving in gift so the mother had to deal with it all.

Thanks for the input people, I've spoke to the store and they told me to email the complaints via the site, they'll be back in touch within one working day. I won't be fobbed off though so if I'm not happy by next week il be going into the store again.

Funny you should mention that, the 3 seater stitching looks like it's fraying on the actual seat bit, I've took pictures on my phone but its not too clear. Maybe Im just expecting too much? See what you think, bearing in mind its only two months old.

3 seater

2 seater

Sale of Goods Act means you have 6 months for refund, exchange what ever. In that period they have to prove it wasn't faulty at sale. After 6 mints you have to prove it was faulty at sale (very difficult).

You'll be alright

unfortunately no. that is what happens when 1 12 stone man sits on a sofa. ridiculous, isn't it?

that's why we got a full refund (well, credit to use on another sofa range in store).

coming mid-june. can't bloody wait.

it's just under 3 years old, but the stitching started coming loose before 1 year had passed.

looked like it was just tight and pulling at first, then it just got worse.
