Dropped my 4S multiple times and my luck ran out at work the other day the front is now fucked.
Going to order a new front and back in a non standard colour, i also need to repair the lock/power button after watchig youtube videos on how to do it.
A little wary of doing the screen itself though as i'm stuck with the phone until October.

Took me a couple of hours first one I did , followed a YouTube vid and wasn't too bad just don't mix the screws up some are different sizes

once u change the screen , the iphone shop will know as soon as they see the fone if you take it in for other things and will void any warranty on it, happened to a fella at work. we couldn't tell the difference but they could a mile off .

As said above. Keep the screws it little bunches. They're all different sizes

I tried twice on 2 3g ones I had, and smashed digitizer both times 
Touch wood my 4s is somehow still in one piece!

Peice of piss to do, done mine the other day and straight after was looking for bulk buy screens lol. Places charge 50quid for screen I done front and back for £20. easy money to be made there.

Pay the extra £20 to get it fitted. I have done it twice and its really fiddley.

Fairly easy, small screws so bit fiddly but take time watch a video first time.
Must do a few 4 or 4S a month over last two years.

I did one on a 4th Gen iPod touch a while ago, I broke the digitizer cable on the new screen, twice  Never again. Took it into town and got it repaired for £15 more than a screen cost me.
