Holy fuck. That's was a high speed impact. He was so luck he didn't roll or go right over the barrier. That could have been so much worse.

Almost looks unreal on the first bounce, like he shouldn't be going that fast.
Proper flying in to that. Seems from the comment he/they got out OK.

This is why i don't understand the fascination with the Nurburgring.
Is it £20k's worth better than doing a trackday elsewhere??

i know graham had to pay. it's ridiculous.
if everyone boycotted it, rather than pay over-inflated fee's, they'd maybe not charge so much.

There's something about your normal insurance is legally obliged to payout for the damages, but noone as yet has taken them to court over it because they put scary words in the small print

Loads have people have used there normal insurance,
But in most cases I've seen said insurance companies have then successfully sued the customers to get their money back.
People also don't realise you drop your coolant an it causes an accident, and some one dies you'll be going down for manslaughter.
Some one I know dropped his coolant, motorbike crash was in hospital for a while, he had to answer bail in Germany fortnightly.
Luckily he was ok but it was touch and go.

i got insurance for my trip there, it only covered the cost of my car (which i put down as the purchase price 12month previous as £2000) as mentioned you'll be doing well to get cover on anything else!

Crazy quick. Apparently it was shut for 2 hours, so that's €6000 in closures, roughly €3000 in barriers, oil clean up is well over €1000, so that's 10k straight away, then you have to pay for the posts the barriers bolt too, the ones they pull straight, the staff pulling the barriers, the staff who drop them off, the staff who attend the accident, the cars that attend the accident, and of course admin fee's as if they haven't earnt enough by that point.
Important thing is they are apparently ok, I honestly expected serious injuries from that when I first watched it.
I'm no expert but it's easy to diagnose, lifted on the compression zone.
