Good Afternoon All
Just wante to say Hi, as I have just bought myself a new little project, and its my first corsa
but I have been into my cars for years now.

I have bought myself a 1999 corsa sport 1.4 16v in black totaly standard and still with the 3 spokes
on it.

Any advice and anything i need to watch on the car would be helpfull.

I have found some just behind the p/side wheel arch where you would put a jack.
Ill have the to a quote on that bit, as I can not weld. Cheers for the welcome.

Really only 467 sports left on the road? More reason for me to keep mine in good nick and fairly standard.

Yer I had the same re-action to, unless I did the search wrong, but I dont think I did. Wont be many left at all soon it they do another scrapage scheme.

I rescued my corsa from being scrapped. It got traded in to vauxhall on 20k by a middle aged lady who didnt want it and they was going to scrap it. I got lucky and managed to get it and keep it on the road. Glad i saved it now after seeing that figure of how many sports are left.

Give the car a good first wash yesterday and cleaned thewhole intinterior. Today started to clean the engine and engine bay, plus de-restricted the air-box it costs nothing so thought I'd give it a go.

Cheers mate, I do my best, off to see a man about welding tomoz after work I hope it don't hit the pocket hard. Then going to my mate's to get it on the ramp to see what it needs. Now sat I'm my sunny garden waiting for the 3rd race of btcc, then switch to the F1.

Took my car in today to get a quote on the welding and there goes a few hundred quid. When checking the spare wheel holder the floor of it just poked through with me pushing not much on it. So 2 holes in it now a big as your fist. The bit before the p/side front wheel needs plating bad. Atleast it's guna get sorted now away.
