Surely the voltage at the battery would be that of the car it was connected to via the jump leads? Maybe a bad earth

Not much gets unplugged when doing the belt mate, as I'm sure you know. Can't see any plugs off anywhere.

8 months of work using this as a deadline the whole time. Drove 50 miles yesterday, then nothing.

Feel
Shit

As nic said mate. Go over everything as if you were going to take the timing off again. The timing shouldn't make it not start though unless it is very very far out. Would of thought it would run rough or misfire?

That's what I thought fluffy. Had issues starting from cold before, but would always start and just cut out straight away. Have no clue now

So you clearly have fuel as the plugs are wet, which would mean you have no spark, no air or timing out/no compression.

Did it run after they finished doing the timing then?

Didn't try after timing. It ran in limp mode since conversion (AFM changed and EML off now) sounds like wants to start but not quite

Am I right in thinking you said that it runs while connected to another car with jump leads?

Tie bar modifying. Change fuel pressure slightly (turned down now like it was) wired extra fan in, and horn back in. Reversed polarity of fans to face correct way.

That's pretty much it.
