Any good ones out there. If there local to me then that's awesome. If not I'm willing to travel.
Seems nowa days finding a engine builder who's work is genuinly good without a fecking stupid price is a hard thing to come buy.
Mostly after things that I can't do myself, balancing the crank, pistons, things like that.

I know phill quite well to be honest but it seems like he's not very liked on this forum for engine builds. Not that I have any quarrels with him but I need someone that comes highly recommended and I can count on if that makes sense?

+1 for good after sales with Steve!

Good bloke

I also used Phillip for my c20xe, and tbh despite a few small niggles that engine lasted a long time and was pushed a lot too! Was woodruff key snapped in end, which I don't blame him for. Although lots of horror stories made me take to SBS this time.

I'm not questioning anyone's ability by the way. Not insulting anyone or anything here. Just after some different opinions is all

There is tbh mate. But things like porting, decking, over boreing ect is what I need doing. I can build engines no problem. Have done a couple with no problems what so ever. But they were only standard engines and as I'm getting a load of machine work done aswell as a lot of new parts i might aswell get it built at the same time. The. I've got more opinions and advice at the same time to help me get then best out of it.

My mate had a LET built by steveyboyslim and it threw the rods out after a few thousand miles. And they wasent cheap rods and bolts. Dont know the reason for it but my mate wasent too impressed.
