Owen Coyle was on five live the other week and they had Dave Whelan on the phone. It was basically Coyle chatting Whelan up for the job on air

Why does he feel the need to wear a full football kit? Managers should always be in a suit.

why don't people in offices wear football kits? Doesn't look professional.
Same goes for an old guy wearing a football kit when he's not playing.

Not sure he gets the difference between a head coach type and a manager type.

This.
Only Championship and lower league managers should be allowed to wear chav attire.
Premier League managers should have to wear a suit.

People in offices don't wear football kits because they have nothing to do with football. Football manager, by nature, do. The clue is in the job title.
End of the day you wear what you are most comfortable in to be the best at your job. If he prefers to wear a tracksuit then fair fucks, maybe he feels as if it removes the barrier between manager and players.

I prefer some managers in the track suits, obviousky the younger ones who are more involved more at the training ground, although I can't see Wenger pulling it off very well
