Tommy, Conway, you Toon boys, what the fuck is going on?

Surely this is a wind up!

Joe Kinnear appointed Director of Football on 3 Year Deal, ranting live on SSN, saying he knows more about football than anyone at the club, says he will be signing all the players etc.

His 2008 rant in which he called a reporter a cunt.

He'll never live to the end of that 3 year deal with his dodgy ticker and lack of temper. Fucking nutcase.

I'm one of the few that kind of thinks he's been good for the club. Rid of debt and put a much more sensible transfer/wage structure in place
The biggest problem though is he seems to know fuck all about football or how to run a club, he's only done well from a business point of view. This appointment stinks of that, seems to be trying to follow the 'European way' the same as Man City are

All comments I've seen are that this is just a ploy to get Pardew to quit and save the 7 years compensation instead of sacking him

I think you might have to do something a bit more extreme to get him to renegade on 7 years worth of pay

Did you have to google Newcastle and wolves before you googled a joke to reply with?

The more the minutes tick by without NUFC confirming or denying it, the more I think Kinnear had too much red wine with his fathers day sunday lunch and rung up SSN to spout some bullshit...

Really think he could be on a wind up to get back at NUFC & the media.

I was thinking this. NUFC have said nothing to back it up.

Have you heard his interview on Sky Sports? He's so up himself!! The only thing Kinnear should be director of is washing the players cars.

He is / does sound like a complete bellend.

The fact NUFC haven't said anything yet doesn't surprise me. Mike Ashley does seem the type of bloke that would say fuck it, 'I'll deal with it tomorrow'.

"We were third from bottom when I took over and we were 12th when I had my heart attack," added Kinnear.

"From there we got relegated. People were trying to implicate me when the club went down. That was a load of rubbish. I've never been a manager of a club that's been relegated.

'On arrival, Kinnear demoted then-manager Lil Fuccillo and appointed himself manager of the team.

He could not save the club from relegation, despite purchasing striker Steve Howard for £50,000 on transfer deadline day.'

Why have NUFC not commented at all??? And it seems a mental decision. Surely Kinnear has lost the plot?

Why would a club make a decision like this then let the new DoF hit the media, spouting off before the club announce it??

Surely not?
