Hey guys, bought myself a new DSLR last week and have been trying to get to grips with it, and all the settings it's got...so took the DC5 out for a 'sunset shoot' to see what's what. The light conditions didn't really change, i just played with a few scene settings.

Nice pics. What's gets me is how the top photographers manage to take pics in the dark but show the car bright as hell with great detail.

Yea - thats what i'm going to be trying to get right over the next few months. This was purely a practice of the different effects settings on the camera.

I'll be looking into different ways of getting the clarity once i've got used to the cam itself
