Hi all im sure this has been asked plenty of times but how do i go about declaring my engine to dvla i know i need to get a engineers report done is there any sort of letter or does he just wright a letter and sign it also what else do i need to send to dvla and how long does it all take to go through also what insurance companys have you used with your engine fitted. I just got a quote off flux direct for £621 with non standard alloys, non standard exhaust system, modified suspension, air filter and non standard engine i think its a good price

all ive ever done is to get a new mot, fill in the v5 for new engines details and send it off to dvla, depending on what you paid for tax before it may go up with a 2.0L. im paying around £440 with flux for my corsa b all mods listed, like for like, limited milage and its a third car and I have a company van.
