Tattooing "Carpe Diem" on your forearm is a good way of letting people know you're a bit of a douche.

Germans are shit at modding, its like they haven't moved on in 20yrs.
They did the same for the corrado 20yrs meets, loads of badly modded cars with bad graphics and half a bodykit

I wondered about this. Surely if the door was to be closed, the chain would scratch all the paintwork

The chain will just be attached for shows, stop people testing out the nice seats etc.

I don't have any interior pics of the Star Trek Insignia, but the owner was walking around in his Star Trek uniform at the show & shine!
German modding is different to the UK. The German TUV (mot) laws are brutal.
Every mod has to be declared for the TUV, THEN you pay extra for every mod done which is not and original factory part.
So a German MOT can cost over 1000euro each year just to get an MOT pass, then you need your normal car insurance after that.
Expensive hobby in Germany modding cars.
The signum is Aaron Taylor's, he won best wheels at PVS last month, and also best in class (Vectra C/Signum) at Oschersleben this year.
Also the orange ZLET Mk1 Astra which won the best car of the show at PVS, also won 2nd place in the Mk1 Astra/Kadett D class at Oschersleben,
So the UK cars represented a good few trophies from the show & shine comp.
Btw there was 189 cars in the show & shine to judge
