Was asked by Porsche Hatfield to judge and award "best bodywork" at a Porsche owners club after work tonight and got to met the guest speaker afterwards, Roy Scammell
Most of you will probs go "who?!" The guy is an 81 year old stuntman, who has met and hung out with, Michael Caine, Frank Sinatra, John Wayne, Kurt Douglas, Sean Connery, Steve McQueen and has stunt doubled for nearly all of them (had to do the practise jumps on the motorbike in the great escape to show the movie insurers it was safe for Steve mcQueen to do it) guy is an absolute ledge, bet he would be so cool to listen to in the pub, even the handful of stories he told us was so cool, getting pissed up with Sinatra and singing a duet in a random club lol
Did stunts or stunt driving in the following to name a few;
The Italian job (the original and did some of the driving)
