screwed in the oil gauge adapter went in fine but went to take it out it striped it threads half way out now it stuck and wont come out what do I do

got it out but got no threads in the head

Find out what thread, then drill and tap it to the next size provided there is enough metal around it still.

I just used a timesert, costs £90 for the set though, and thats just one size and 5 inserts so expensive

Nothing wrong with a helicoil when done properly.

it actually titend but with no washer engine on last legs any way befor I destryed the threads gauge was at 10psi cold and naut when warm below 2000rpm
