got an Iphone 4s and the wifi button has greyed out and doesn't want to work again no matter what I try
has anyone else had any similar problems I have tried the apple forums and tried virtually every possible way to get it working again any one got any suggestions

Friend had the same problem. Nothing that he tried worked, so he ended up just taking it to o2 or wherever he got it from and they replaced it for him.

backup and restore?
Have you recently had a new screen fitted to it?

its so bloody annoying and tried backing up and restore and screens never been changed.... considering taking mine in but I have no insurance on it

Have you reset your connection settings? (deletes all wifi passwords etc)

Ok. may sound mad but i fixed one by putting the phone in a bag and put it in the freezer for 10mins or so.....

that's where it is atm believe it or not haha except mines in shrink wrap and fridge/freezer thing so probably not as cold as it needs to be

right took it out and wifi back on but now doesnt show any wifi connections on the choose network don't wanna reset it just incase stops again lol

Is it on the latest software as well? Stand right next to your router and see if its picking it up. Have you dropped it or anything? Opened the battery cover recently?

yeah on latest software and not picking up shit and dropped it few times I guess but no heavy drops and no never have

actually if I stand within a 2/3 foot of router it connects but any further is a no go mate
