Just sold a set of wheels on ccuk and the guy has sent payment to me. First time using paypal and want to make sure this is correct? Why does it say sent payment? To me that looks like I have sent money back to him.

You have to register your bank account on the website and then transfer it. It may ask you to confirm two small figures before it will let you though.

Says the money won't be available for upto 21 days because I'm a new seller. Fuck that. Can I get him to cancel and send it to a different PayPal? Or will I have to refund him then get him to pay?

Don't want to ask him to bank transfer because I wouldn't to someone I don't know lol not £490 anyway. It's sorted anyway , refunded him and he will send it to my mates PayPal tomorrow. Least that way it will be available to withdraw. Cheers lads.

IMO. Large transaction new PayPal account etc, just looks suspicious to PayPal.

I k ow its fecking annoying and I would be pissed off too. So many scams on PayPal they're just protecting themselves. They don't care if you go elsewhere

It was pending because I'm a new seller , they hold it for 21 days to make sure there's no problems with the sale. Sorted now anyway got the cash out my mates account.
