How easy is it to fit a remote control locking system to a corsa B (just central locking at the moment).
Where would i get the kit form?
Would it be a better option to fit it as part of a car alarm kit instead because i'm thinking of fitting one too.

You can get a decent Clifford alarm for about £299 which includes remote central locking and this price includes fitting at your home or work place.
Thats the way I've done it!

i phoned cliffor the other day, and yes it comes with remote locking, but u have to buy the motors for the doors. i was quoted somethig like £200 for the alarm and then £35 for each door for central locking.

I had a remote fitted for £100.
If you know about electrics you could just buy the remote bit from somewhere like demon tweeks (£40) and fit it ure self, you just need to know which wires to connect.

the alarm comes with remote locking as a feature, so if u already had central lockoing, already they just conect the wires up to the alarm and whenever u turn your alarm on , the doors will lock.
if u dont have central locking, u need the motors which they will then connect to the alarm and the u have central locking.

The autoeurope kit is then one i bought back last July, top quality and good service from them. Control module has lock and unlock wire outputs for your alarm, so its easy to wire for remote as I did.
Also easy fit central locking to any car, takes all of at most 1hr when palying around with the motion of the thing.

erm, put it thru urself. i only had 2 wires in my multiplug that were speaker wires, so i drilled holes thru em to get 5 wires thru either side. Made holes in the grommets to get the wires in, then made sure it was all water sealed and put bak 2gether right. In total was around 12 hours work for me.
