So im going to be selling the 330d as it isnt doing the MPG i need.

For a year i need to save lots of money (girlfriend going back to uni with an awfull student loan) so was looking at the Polo Bluemotion.

Has anyone owned one, driven one, experience of one?

I know they are dog slow, looked at the Golf bluemotion but they seem to be £1k more for a mid milage one.

New - yes, okay to drive - yes, mpg - great, day to day car - I wouldn't do it.
It's okay for the gf, but never as a daily / sole car for me.
