Sounds like the one that if you someone flashes their lights at you then you become embroiled in some gangland initiation ceremony.

Shouldn't pull out when someone flashes you anyway, flashing is to alert of your presence.

Serves you right if you pull out when retards flash.
I'm unsure where it got lost in translation for most people. No where does it say to flash your main beam to let other people out. It's a warning.
Much more reasonable scam then slamming your brakes on.

I don't believe for one minute that you have never turned in or out because someone has flashed you

I always wait till it's obvious they are slowing first, same as I ignore indicators, wait till they're turning/slowing first

I have, but i'm not one to pull out and then take 35 seconds to reach 20mph. I'd pull out, redline 1st and 2nd and they'd have no chance of crashing into me
I don't flash people though, main beam or cock out.

I've often pulled out when people flash, I learn that it's a warning. In day to day driving though, it doesn't work like that. So you can either sit in traffic for ages, or do what most do.
