So its nothing too exciting but here it is.

Cars a 2000 audi S3. Has all the features you would expect, bose sound system with built in sub. cream leather recaros etc.

When i first set out to buy one i said i wasnt going to buy a silver one but a friend of my dads owned this and got it at a very good price. especially considering it had a brand new engine fitted at Audi 21k miles ago. Got a receipt for £5600 to prove, must have been a painful bill to pay

Plans are:

re-map
turbo back exhaust
maybe FMIC
dump valve
H&R 25mm springs
and a set of BBS LM's

Alright that mate. Just out of interest, what are these kicking out standard? As my mate has got an Audi same shape and everything however i think it's badged up as an S3, as i've managed to beat it quite easy.

You get a 210bhp and a 225bhp model.

If its an A3 then it will be 150bhp.

Oh yeah forgot about that. Am quite enjoying this, great to drive and handles great as standard. Not the fastest thing in the world but should be a better with a map. Hope for about 270bhp with exhaust and a map.

Remap deffo, will notice that. Would pass on the dump valve myself, assuming you mean a VTA. I'd only upgrade the recirc if anything. I'd also pass on the FMIC unless you had big plans.

Always liked these. Have a look at them every now and again but it seems impossible to find one that hasn't done moon miles or modded by Stevie wonder.

well thats kinda why i had 'maybe fmic' i know its not needed running near standard but a hybrid turbo could be in the pipeline. And yeah its the recirc valve i am changing, sorry bad word choice with dumpvalve.

i know what your saying, i was looking for ages for one until this came along and had to snap it up with only 21k miles on the engine.

SFS/B5 3" tip with a cone filter and heatshield is another good investment. Sounds the nuts as well. I had the LCR so the same engine and a simple map with a panel filter it still made 269bhp 266lbft.

oh yeah, not sure whos the silver one was but i do remember this one. they looks so much better with those wheels.

If they werent the same wheels i had on my golf then i would probably have went for them but think am gona go with the BBS LM's. really not a fan of the Avus wheels.

I'd put a front mount on, I put one on my cupra (same engine) and could tell a difference even when it had the standard map on, also gives you more scope for future mods etc, search for wellycooler on s3 sites etc.
